Privacy Policy
How Solia handles data, wallets, and public blockchain activity.
This page explains what information Solia may process, how it is used, and what remains public when users interact with blockchain networks.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Solia may collect, use, and protect information when you visit the Solia website, use Solia escrow interfaces, access documentation, or interact with Solia-related services.
Solia is designed as a non-custodial escrow and settlement protocol. That means Solia does not need to take custody of your wallet or private keys to provide escrow functionality. You remain responsible for the wallets, accounts, transactions, and blockchain interactions you approve.
2. Information We May Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as contact details submitted through forms, support requests, beta access requests, waitlists, or other communication channels.
We may collect technical and usage information, including device type, browser type, pages visited, approximate region, referral source, and interaction events that help us understand and improve the Solia experience.
If you connect or use a wallet, we may process public wallet addresses and related public blockchain activity needed to display escrow state, transaction history, or protocol activity.
3. Public Blockchain Data
Blockchain networks are public by design. Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, token transfers, escrow accounts, timestamps, and other on-chain activity may be visible to anyone through block explorers, RPC providers, indexers, analytics tools, and other third-party services.
Solia cannot delete, alter, or hide information that has already been published to a public blockchain. You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information directly into transaction memos, escrow descriptions, public metadata, or any other on-chain field.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the website and escrow interfaces, display escrow and transaction status, provide documentation, improve product reliability, respond to support requests, manage beta access, detect abuse, and maintain the security of Solia services.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve user flows, measure performance, and prioritize future development.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
Solia may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, or similar technologies to remember preferences, measure site performance, understand usage patterns, and improve the product experience.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notices or choices related to non-essential tracking technologies.
6. Third-Party Services
Solia may rely on third-party infrastructure such as hosting providers, analytics tools, wallet providers, RPC endpoints, block explorers, documentation platforms, communication tools, and other service providers.
These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies. Solia is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites, wallets, blockchain networks, or third-party applications.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate Solia, comply with legal obligations, investigate abuse, protect users, enforce terms, or complete a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer.
Public blockchain information is not controlled exclusively by Solia and may be independently available to other participants, infrastructure providers, and observers.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Solia-controlled systems. No online system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, seed phrase, private keys, device, browser, and transaction approvals. Solia will never ask you to disclose your seed phrase or private keys.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, operate the protocol interfaces, maintain business records, resolve disputes, improve the product, comply with legal obligations, and protect Solia and its users.
Public blockchain data may remain available indefinitely because it is maintained by decentralized or third-party networks outside Solia's control.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding certain personal information processed by Solia-controlled systems.
To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request before responding. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.
11. International Use
Solia may be accessed globally. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from your local laws.
12. Children's Privacy
Solia is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Solia, contact us so we can review the matter.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
14. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact Solia through the official project channels listed on the Solia website or documentation. Do not send seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or sensitive wallet credentials through support channels.
